Yes, there was a lavender house posted here two days ago, and now here’s another one!
I could make a book of lavender houses to go with the book of pink houses of NOLA that I need to make.
I love how the folks living here have added wreaths and decorations to match the home. Festive!
This is post #341, so clearly I didn’t quite meet the 2011 Post A Day challenge, but you can find a lot of NOLA architecture images if you peek through the archives.
For 2012, I’m going to concentrate on my all-encompassing blog, nolawildandprecious.com. I encourage you to follow me over there; I think you’ll like it if you’ve enjoyed this photo blog of NOLA images. You’ll still get plenty of great images of the city, along with a bit more story. And I won’t feel so spread out among three blogs. I’ll miss the Duotone theme, but I have lots of exciting things going on and keeping up with three daily (or almost daily) blogs just isn’t going to fit with the plan anymore. I may still post a few more images here, but for the most part I think I’m retiring NOLA Details.
Thanks so much to all of my frequent visitors and subscribers; I’ve had over 20,000 views and that’s pretty cool! Thanks especially to Ruth, Jeanne, Theresa, Katie, John and Don for such regular comments and to everyone for the likes. I hope you’ll join me over at nolawildandprecious if you’re not already there, and if you’re in need of a little taste of New Orleans, bookmark this page and use the categories or archives to search for a pretty image on days when you need a dose of NOLA.
Cheers, everyone!
Carla
